The Journal contains narratives that summarize not only the dates and places of specific life events but describes the environment and context in which our ancestors lived. Family stories are included, even when factually unsubstantiated or just proven wrong, as these stories in themselves provide insight into what our family members wanted their legacy to be.
Genealogy is an on-going process. We all hit that brick wall. DNA has helped provide additional connections with the possible 5th or 8th cousin even when paper documentation is not there. More and more records are being scanned and made available to us. So it is most probable that these narratives will need revising in the future. Please let us know if such revisions are necessary today.
