Family Photos
Faded, worn and smudged with grime, the faces of our ancestors reveal much about our history. We struggle for lost names, search for clues about dates from the clothes, houses, and other background images. Sometimes we are fortunate to find scrawled names and dates on the back of the photos. But often not. And then there are photos of friends or other associates of our relatives. Or a photo at a garage sale with telltale signs of a certain age. We include those here with the information available as we are all related at some point in the history of mankind.

Document what you know about the photo, store it in a save place (include digitizing it) and share it....
Remember copyright laws...
can apply to photographs. However, the "owner" of a photograph is the original photographer not the persons in the photo under current law. There are other exceptions to copyright laws in use of images depending on the age and use to which they are being put. Old photos are probably public domain and as such one can freely copy and share. We will try our best to ensure compliance with these rules but if you feel that we are infringing on your copyright laws, please contact us.
