The following include copies of letters that were exchanged between various family members about the family history.  While a summary and some background is given on the parties involved in the exchange, these are displayed as written, unedited.  They provide insight into the sender and receiver.  Also included are diaries, notes, and other communications.

Wyoming Rosebud Keck to Dorothea Irene Keck Snyder

Bud was Irene's older sister.  They exchanged letters, photos and cards over the years.  This letter was written on April 4, 1983 regarding  the school in Georgia City, Missouri.  The photo to which it refers is also attached.

Narratives Remembrances of and by Dorothea Irene Keck Snyder

is some of Irene's recollections of family, friends and neighbors in Georgia City and Quapaw written at the request of her daughter, Eufrona Ann Snyder O'Neill.  Eufrona added some notes and photos for context to her mother's handwritten notes.  Due to the number of pages, the booklet has been presented in three parts. Oscar Augustus ("Gus") Snyder Diary

Oscar Augustus “Gus” Snyder, 39, and Mary Belle “Belle” Gilbreath Cannon, 28, were married March 26, 1895 in Carthage, Missouri.  It was a second marriage for both.  Gus was a widower and Belle a divorcee.  To the marriage, they brought three boys: John Charles Snyder, 16, Thaddeus Sobieski “Thad” Snyder, 14, and John Noble Cannon, 3.  The timeframe of the diary captures the latter part of the first year of marriage and Belle’s entire pregnancy with Beulah Irene Snyder.  It ends a few days after Beulah’s birth.  Once again, in his own words, his provides us insight into who was Gus and his sons, Thaddeus ("Thad") Sobieski  and John Charles Snyder as well as his new wife, Belle, her son John Noble Cannon and other members of her family.    The Diary
